Google: Multinational And International Links Are Not Seem Spammy
Often, I see webmasters basically disavow links simply because they are written by a website that is written in another language, on a ccTLD or offers a different spatial market as their own website. Google John Mueller said on Twitter that “the quality of links does not depend on their nationality or the languages they speak.”
This site gets tons of links from sites in China, Japan, Israel, Europe, and so on. Some of these pages that have anchor text that is used on this Website in Japanese, some Hebrew, some French, and so on. With links from these sites is a bad thing or spam is not.
We know that the Penguin Algorithm is a global algorithm. Means it does not have to be like Panda and changed based on the language of the page. But still, Google is not to say oh – this link is from China, in Chinese and your site is written in American, in English – so the link should be penalized. Google does not.
